EECHS & MCNC
Since it's beginning as Edgecombe Middle College High
School in 2003, EECHS has actively participated in the
Middle College National Consortium (MCNC).
As a member of this national support network for
innovative schools, EECHS has sent staff to MCNC's
annual conferences and students to the annual student
leadership conferences.
Participation in these conferences has provided an
opportunity for our students to visit such cities as Los
Angeles, Seattle, San Francisco, New Orleans,
Manhattan/NY. A video of our New Orleans trip is
available on our Digital Showcase page.
This year our students will be traveling to Denver,
Colorado to explore environmental responsibility.
This document, describing the consortium and EECHS was
released on 9/10/08 by the MCNC.
